व्यावसायिक अध्ययनमा स्नातक (B.B.S) त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयको बिबिएस (BBS) कार्यक्रमको उद्देश्य विद्यार्थीहरूलाई संगठित क्रियाकलापको जुनसुकै क्षेत्रका लागि पनि सक्षम प्रबन्धक (manager) को रूपमा विकास गर्नु हो। यो कार्यक्रम यस सिद्धान्तमा आधारित छ कि स्नातक तह उत्तीर्ण व्यक्तिहरूले आफ्नो जीवनको ठूलो हिस्सा निरन्तर परिवर्तनशील वातावरणमा बिताउनेछन्। त्यसैले, विद्यार्थीहरूले संस्थाहरूको सञ्चालन र व्यवस्थापनको अन्तर्निहित अवधारणा र यथार्थपरक सीपहरूको व्यापक ज्ञान प्राप्त गर्ने अवसर पाउनुपर्दछ। स्नातक भएपछि, एक विद्यार्थी व्यवसाय, उद्योग र सरकारमा प्रबन्धकको रूपमा काम गर्न सक्षम हुनुपर्दछ। स्नातक तह उत्तीर्ण गर्नेहरूका लागि उद्यमशीलता लगायत व्यवसायका विभिन्न क्षेत्रहरूमा करियरका विविध अवसरहरू हुनेछन् र उनीहरूले अरूका लागि आवश्यक रोजगारीहरू सिर्जना गर्न सक्नेछन्।
त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयको बिबिएस कार्यक्रमले विशेष गरी निम्न कुराहरूमा जोड दिन्छ: १. विद्यार्थीहरूमा सामान्य व्यवस्थापकीय दृष्टिकोण विकास गर्न व्यवसाय र प्रशासनको आवश्यक अवधारणात्मक ज्ञान प्रदान गर्ने। २. विद्यार्थीहरूमा आवश्यक दृष्टिकोण, क्षमता र व्यावहारिक सीपहरू विकास गर्ने, जसले उनीहरूलाई सक्षम र जिम्मेवार व्यावसायिक प्रबन्धकको रूपमा अघि बढ्न जग निर्माण गर्दछ। ३. नेपाली समाजमा प्रभावकारी परिवर्तनका संवाहक बन्न विद्यार्थीहरूमा उद्यमशीलताको क्षमतालाई प्रोत्साहन गर्ने। ४. व्यवस्थापनमा उच्च शिक्षाका लागि आवश्यक आधार तयार गर्ने र त्यसपछि शिक्षण, अनुसन्धान र परामर्श सेवामा करियर बनाउन सक्षम बनाउने।
उपस्थिति, मूल्याङ्कन र ग्रेडिङ प्रणाली विद्यार्थीहरूको अन्तिम मूल्याङ्कन त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय, परीक्षा नियन्त्रण कार्यालयद्वारा सञ्चालन गरिने वार्षिक परीक्षा मार्फत गरिन्छ। यद्यपि, वार्षिक परीक्षामा सामेल हुन योग्य हुनका लागि विद्यार्थीहरूले निम्न सर्तहरू पूरा गर्नुपर्नेछ: (क) विद्यार्थीको वास्तवमा सञ्चालन भएका कक्षाहरूमा कम्तिमा ७० प्रतिशत उपस्थिति हुनुपर्छ। (ख) पहिलो वर्षको अन्तिम परीक्षामा सामेल नभई कुनै पनि विद्यार्थीलाई दोस्रो वर्षको अन्तिम परीक्षामा सामेल हुन दिइने छैन।
वार्षिक परीक्षाहरूमा ग्रेडिङ प्रणाली यस प्रकार छ:

तृतीय श्रेणी (Third Division): ३५ प्रतिशत

द्वितीय श्रेणी (Second Division): ४५ प्रतिशत

प्रथम श्रेणी (First Division): ६० प्रतिशत

विशिष्टता (Distinction): ७५ प्रतिशत
योग्यता त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालयको बिबिएस (BBS) कार्यक्रममा भर्नाका लागि आवेदन दिने उम्मेदवारले:

उच्च माध्यमिक शिक्षा परिषद्, त्रिभुवन विश्वविद्यालय, वा TU द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त अन्य कुनै विश्वविद्यालय/बोर्डबाट व्यवसाय/वाणिज्य (Business/Commerce) मा PCL वा १०+२ वा सो सरहको कोर्ष सफलतापूर्वक पूरा गरेको हुनुपर्छ।

१०+२ को प्रत्येक विषयमा कम्तिमा डी प्लस (D+) ग्रेड ल्याएको हुनुपर्छ।

Bachelor of Management Studies (B.B.S)
The objective of the BBS programme of Tribhuvan University is to develop students into competent managers for any sector of organized activity. The programme is based on the principle that graduates will spend a major portion of their life in a constantly changing environment.
Therefore, the student should have an opportunity to obtain a broad knowledge of the concepts and reality-based skills underlying the operation and management of organizations.
Upon graduation, a student should be equipped to function as a manager in business, industry, and government. The graduate should also have a variety of career opportunities in different sectors of business including entrepreneurship and create much needed jobs for others.
The BBS programme of Tribhuvan University specially attempts to:
1. Equip the students with the required conceptual knowledge of business and administration to develop a general management perspective in them. 2. Develop required attitudes, abilities, and practical skills in students, which constitute a foundation for their growth into competent and responsible business managers. 3. Encourage entrepreneurial capabilities in students to make them effective change agents in the Nepalese society. 4. Develop necessary foundation for higher studies in management and thereafter take up careers in teaching, research, and consultancy.Attendance, Evaluation and Grading System
The final evaluation of students is done through the annual examination conducted by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Tribhuvan University. However, for qualifying to appear in the annual examinations, students must meet the following requirements:
(a) The student must have a minimum of 70 percent attendance of the classes actually held. (b) No student will be allowed to appear in the second year final examinations without first appearing in the first year final examinations.The grading system in the annual examinations is as follows:
Third Division: 35 Percent Second Division: 45 Percent First Division: 60 Percent Distinction: 75 PercentEligibility
The candidate applying for admission to the BBS programme of Tribhuvan University:
• Must have successfully completed the PCL or 10+2 in business/commerce or an equivalent course from a Higher Secondary School Board, or from Tribhuvan University, or from any other University/Board recognized by TU. • Must have scored at least D Plus (D+) in each subject in 10+2.
